FAQs
I want to book you, but my wedding isn’t in the San Diego area. Do you travel?
Yes! I’ll go wherever your love takes you. Travel fees apply if I travel more than 40 miles. For weddings & elopements, anything in California that is more than 3 hours away has a flat travel rate of $400 for travel. Outside of California has a flat travel rate of $1,000 for travel + lodging.
Do you do other sessions - like families or portraits?
Sometimes. I work best with couples, but there are exceptions when I will do other sessions - past couples having babies, families with young children who are looking for a more candid style, and even the occasional senior portraits. Feel free to reach out to me if you’re inquiring about a family session or portraits and, if I am not able to do your session, I can always connect you with another photographer!
How do I secure you as my photographer?
The first step is to inquire with me on my contact page so we can get in touch. If your date is available, your event/session will be secured once a contract is signed and a retainer paid.

I use high quality professional gear, have extensive knowledge of photography from both a technical and artistic perspective, and experience in shooting in a wide variety of conditions. The coverage you receive will be rooted in both intention and creativity, so you can be sure that you’ll have photos worth displaying.

Whether a ten hour wedding day or a one hour engagement session, most of my time will be spent in the processing and editing of the photos. Each hour of shooting will produce around 80-100 finished images - not to mention the time spent selecting the best images. Editing is done using professional software that I have nearly 10 years of experience using and balances image quality and artistic freedom to achieve my personal style.
